Daniel Schaffers started with the hotel management school Steigenberger Hotelfachschule in Bad Reichenhall followed by a training as chef in the hotel “Traube Tonbach”. After completing the apprenticeship, he worked in Aachen, Zurich, Los Angeles, Cologne, Dresden (Asst. Food & Beverage Manager in Kempinski Hotel) and in Brighton (Senior Eventmanager in the Grand Hotel).
Since 2006 Daniel Schaffers is cooking in our kitchen again. The Schaffers’ kitchen is especially characterized by its freshness and creativity. Seasonal and fresh ingredients are of great importance for Daniel Schaffers. He turns them into true delights by using his great technical skills.
In 2007 Daniel and Michaela Schaffers got married. The two met in Leipzig. She was born in Leipzig and also gained experiences in Front of House at the international hotel brands Dorint, Marriott, Kempinski and Hilton. Later they jointly decided to take positions in Dresden, Brighton and after a few years, they took up the challenge of continuing the successful family business.
